Scholarship Description: We are seeking two highly motivated and talented Postdocs to form the founding team in the Adaptive Laboratory Evolution and Genome Engineering Core in the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Biosustainability. The section is focused on the development of novel technology with the potential to revolutionize sustainable production of value chemicals. These two Postdoc positions are focused on the development of genome engineering technology to improve strains for the production of renewable chemicals. These positions will interface directly with the group that will develop an adaptive evolution platform for strain engineering based on the principles of evolution and will deploy this to optimize phenotypes of production pathways and strains of Center for Biosustainability projects.
