Awards are open to both graduate and undergraduate students working towards a DDS, DMD, or PhD and are enrolled in an accredited institution within the U.S. Students must be sponsored by a faculty member at that institution. The Fellowship must be utilized between July 2012 and June 2013

Scholarship Description: Research proposals will be accepted for the 2012 AADR Sjögren’s Syndrome Foundation Student Fellowship. This Fellowship is supported by the Sjögren’s Syndrome Foundation (SSF) and is offered to encourage research in the field of Sjögren’s Syndrome. Founded in 1983, the SSF provides patients with practical information and coping strategies that minimize the effects of Sjögren’s syndrome. In addition, the Foundation is the clearinghouse for medical information and is the recognized national advocate for Sjögren’s syndrome. The Fellowship consists of a stipend of $4,000. Funds are not to be used to pay indirect, or institutional overhead costs.
